| The ancient construction of 'Vico delle Monachette', going back to 1580, hosted the convent of the "Teresiane scalze", the building still conserve the structure of the ancient church, can be noticed particular of the ancient characters, the original big windows that it gives on the courtyard and a section of external big frame of 150 centimeters.
The original construction was modified by the patrician "Maddalena Centuriona" in 1840 that founded a school, which remained until 1849.
Today restructured, the hotel remembers the inns of other times in the heart of old Genoa, the rooms is pleasant and luminous, with modern furnishings.
From the windows of the rooms of the last floor in the garret you can see a panorama of roofs of ancient Genoa, down until the sea where the sight is opened on the Ancient Port. |
